Checkers is one handsome boy who was left to fend for himself in a spot where we find many stray dogs. He looks 100% better than he did when we first got him. He is good with kids, good with other big dogs but not recommended for someone with little dogs. He needs a home with strong leadership and can provide fun time and structure. He is a great dog who is a big couch potato. Would also do best in a home without a bunch of animals, he likes his one-on-one time. Isn't he adorable??? If you are interested in this pet please contact us as soon as possible. We take in approximately xxxx animals a year. Unfortunately we are a high kill shelter due to the amount of animals being brought to the shelter. We euthanize mostly due to space and temperment.
